The NGSME9AVB is a high-performance Audio-Video Bridging (AVB) switch developed by EKF, designed for synchronized transmission of audio and video signals in real-time environments.
The switch has eight real-time Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which support PoE+. The four PoE ports can supply up to 120 watts.
To double the connection options the switch can be cascaded with a second one. Developed and manufactured in Germany – especially for industrial applications – the NGSME9AVB is characterized by its stainless steel housing. The compact design (small footprint) and the power supply via an external power supply unit with 48-54 VDC nominal (alternatively an AC/DC adapter is also available) are further features of the product. The switch works with passive cooling and is designed for an operating temperature range of 0 to 70°C. Features include Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and a web server with continuous software support from Germany. The switch supports the Dante audio network protocol for seamless digital audio transmission.
The NGSME9AVB offers a cost-optimized solution for medium-sized applications. It impresses with high reliability, durability and a range of certifications such as AVNU, MILAN, as well as FCC and CE and standards like IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.1, IEEE 1588v2.
