sensmore’s Driver Intelligence deploying AI and 4D imaging radars on the other hand works reliably even under difficult conditions (fog, rain, darkness) and thus sustainably improves safety and efficiency in the use of construction machinery.

Equipped with EKF’s AL600, the high-performance Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) switch developed for Robust industrial applications, the data can be received and processed.

The box is equipped with seven 100BASE-T1 ports and an additional 1000BASE-T uplink and offers the option of real-time capability with a separate CPU.

The conversion from four or more wire pairs to a single wire pair is already established in the automotive sector. The advantages here are significant.

Thanks to the simplified cabling, it reduces effort, space and weight. This also means that costs are lower and implementation is simplified.

In addition to these obvious advantages, SPE also offers a greater range of up to 1000 meters and supports the power supply of devices via the same wire pair that is used for data transmission.

SPE is particularly suitable for demanding environments due to its reduced complexity and robust design.

The sensmore sensor is the controlling device of the communication and assumes the master role.

The switch supplied by EKF can be switched between the master and slave role and can therefore receive data from the sensor and execute actions based on this.
