The high-performance Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) switch, equipped with EKF’s AL600 and developed for robust industrial applications, receives and processes data.

The box includes seven 100BASE-T1 ports and an additional 1000BASE-T uplink, and it offers real-time capability through a separate CPU.

The conversion from four or more wire pairs to a single wire pair is already established in the automotive sector. The advantages here are significant.

Thanks to the simplified cabling, it reduces effort, space and weight. This also means that costs are lower and implementation is easy.

In addition to these obvious advantages, SPE also offers a greater range of up to 1000 meters and supports the power supply of devices via the same wire pair that is used for data transmission.
