CQ2-POWER

The CQ2-POWER is a programmable, precision DC power supply featuring two 50V 2A (100 W) channels in a single CPCI slot. It can simultaneously measure voltage and current while supplying power. The CQ2-POWER can operate in either constant voltage or constant current mode. In constant voltage mode, the device acts as a precision voltage source. Regardless of the load, the voltage across the output terminals remains constant at the programmed value up to the programmed current limit. In constant current mode, the board acts as a precision current source. Regardless of the output voltage, the current through the load remains constant up to the programmed current limit.

Each output channel contains an isolated PWM switching stage that is responsible for power isolation. This is followed by a linear regulator to provide low-noise output power. The channels are isolated from each other and from chassis ground. Both power outputs including sense lines are available via the front panel connector. The CQ2-POWER requires an external input power source 44-58VDC for operation. The remote sense terminals are used for voltage measurement and feedback. Current is measured using shunt resistors in series with the terminal. A variety of programming modes and timing options are supported, making the CQ2-POWER extremely useful for automated test applications.
